Kempsey Domestic Violence Monitoring Committee – our charity for 2016
The Kempsey Domestic Violence Monitoring Committee was incorporated in 1994 and is made up of representatives from Government and Non-Government organisations in the Kempsey LGA. It is a committee that meets six weekly and it aims to increase community awareness of Domestic Violence and support options through local campaigns, and provides a forum for information exchange regarding issues of Domestic Violence affecting the local community.
The KDVMC lobby and advocate strongly for government funding to be directed to the Kempsey community to support local services in keeping victims of Domestic Violence safe.
